How did we get our start?

  1. Sea Eagle Boats, Inc. is a family owned and operated business dating back to 1968. We are located 60 miles east of NYC on Long Island. Our office is near historical Port Jefferson Harbor where many of America’s finest sailing yachts were built.

    Great even in the choppiest of waters

    So far we have taken this out on the lake 8 times for upto 6 hours, works great with our 55lb thrust trolling motor. We paddle until we can’t and then kick on the motor to bring us home. I feel totally comfortable taking this out in even the choppiest of waters, with big boats passing us on both sides. It just rolls with the waves, I never have a fear of it tipping over. I will say that it is a bit of a tank to manuever without some type of rudder, this is where our trolling motor is great, even when we are not running it. Easy to get in and out of the car, quick set up. I would recommend that you get the wheels to get it up and down the ramps. We can do it without the trolly wheels, but the wheels make it so much easier. We returned the bemini top, as it got in the way of us paddleing when up. With it’s ease of transport, we have been able to take this to 8 different ramps on the lake, which is wonderful. Plan on taking it to Fl in the fall to do the intercoastal waterway. It is a wonderful option for those that don’t want to tow a boat.

    On buccoo beach Tobago, this is no ordinary kayak, stable as anything, handled ocean waves and swells like nothing I’ve ever been in this size, I’m a sea eagle fan from now on…

    Paddleski is a misnomer, but boat is still great

    My wife and I have owed this boat for four years and we are very satisfied with our purchase. It is very transportable and we have used it on over 10 different lakes. However, it is important to understand what the boat is and what it is not. We initially thought that we would be using it like a kayak but it is somewhat heavy and difficult to paddle in a straight line—any type of wind will blow it off course. The following year we installed a trolling motor and that somewhat improved the experience. Last year we bought an Epropulsion ($$$) electric motor, which I believe is equivalent to a 3 HP gas outboard. Now we have sufficient power, range, and the lack of motor noise is a fantastic bonus. Tip: For packing up the boat after use, we found that the easiest way is to keep the transom attached, fold the sides toward the middle, roll the boat up from the back to the front, and then tie a rope around it to keep it from unrolling.

    Fantastic Customer Service

    Purchased this from the Sea Eagle store on Amazon. Great boat! Received with a damaged transom that was promptly replace, in days, by Sea Eagle. I also had many questions about the boat and their customer service folks were fast to respond to emails. An outstanding experience and product!

    Makes a great sailboat!

    This is a solidly built, comfortable craft. I mostly use it with the 3rd party sail kit, as you can see in my photos. Having an extremely portable sailboat is just the greatest. I love to sail, but don’t love trailers, mooring fees, etc. With this I have a real sailboat that travels inside my car. What a great solution!

    A Great boat from a Great Manufacturer

    There is nothing that I don’t like about Sea Eagle 437ps and Sea Eagle Customer Service is fantastic.I purchased the 437ps from a man that bought it less than a year ago, he had back surgery and could no longer walk very well. So the boat had more than 2 years left on the warranty.I contacted Sea Eagle to confirm that, as a 2nd owner, the warranty was transferable and fully intact. The customer support rep assured me that it was and even helped me wirh the paperwork to get the boat registered in Michigan.At that time, I mentioned a boat bag strap was frayed and made it difficult to use. Without hesitation, they sent a new bag. Additionally, I sent them a picture of some stitching on the drop stitch floor that I had a question about. The rep responded within an hour, that it was normal and part of the drop stitch process.I’ve had it out a couple times now and find it to be VERY stable! I’m 72 and stability is important to me. I have a new 6 hp Tohatsu motor on it that will push the boat faster than I have the guts to go!It handles wake from other boats very well. I’m not a very good swimmer and I’m confident this boat will keep me safe.This boat is extremely versatile and relatively fast and easy to set up. I bought an electric pump that inflates the 10psi floor and 4 3.2psi bladders in less than 15 minutes. While it’s inflating, I rig the scotty mount rod holders, fish finder, anchor lock, seats, etc. I’m ready to launch in about 20-30 minutes.Deflating and packup is a bit less than the setup.The 885 lb capacity and the size of the boat easily accommodates 2 people, the motor and all the gear, without coming close to the weight limit.I love this boat and the Sea Eagle support. Sea Eagle makes a quality product and they stand behind it.My Sea Eagle 437ps configuration:Tohatsu 6hp outboardMinn kota endura 30lb trolling motorDuralast Deep Cycle Marine batteryNewport Battery Box2 Triple post holders on the factory mounted Scotty padsI added 2 additional glue on Scotty Pads that host a Garmin Striker 4cv fish finder and a Scotty Anchor Lock

    Perfect for class b rv.

    The paddleski,wheel kit, 2DKS seats a 6hp suzuki motor,2 paddles and a gallon gas can,and two life jackets will fit in the stowaway hitch box.
